Design
At the front, this bike sports the twin headlight which has been adopted from the design and styling from Yamaha DNA. This headlight provides clear and effective vision at night. Above the headlamp, this bike has the stylish wind protector. The carbon pattern has been adopted to enhance the sporty image of the bike also allowing resistance free riding in all the conditions. The seat of the bike is longer and wider, thus more seat space ensures comfortable riding experience. The long and firm seat has been designed for the pillion rider. The grab bar acts as backrest as well as a hold for the pillion rider while moving through the bumpy roads. The rear of the bike gets a fender that guards the tyres of the bike from mud and water splashes on the roads. Also, this bike comes with a chain protector that prevents fluttery and most importantly it prevents loose clothing to get stuck into the chain. This bike is extremely stylish.

Handling
Yamaha Fazer is built on ‘diamond’ frame. The front type suspension is telescopic and the rear has the Swingarm type suspension. The bike also has the 7-times adjustable monocross suspension which delivers an exhilarating and stable riding experience. The suspension system of this bike is very great and it is believed that with this suspension system, Yamaha Fazer can perform too well on the rocky terrains or roads which are broken. The front have the large diameter front disc brake while at rear, the brakes are drum type. The two-pot caliper makes full use of the outer perimeter of the disc to provide strong stopping power. Further, the rear tyre of the bike is India’s first radial tyre with a 60% aspect ratio. Both the front and rear tyres of this model are tubeless type which are less susceptible to sudden flattening and thus prevents the tyre from being punctured.These features make the braking system quite efficient and impressive.With an excellent riding position, Fazer still could be not a good option for long road trips only due to the foot pegs which are placed towards its rear. The sporty nature of the foot pegs reduces the comfort but at the same time it lends the bike great lean angles. Together with the advantages and the disadvantages, this bike is a very sporty one to ride.

Fazer being a touring bike has everything starting from looks and speed. In terms of handling also, Fazer beats Bajaj Pulsar 150. Pulsar has less speed than that of Fazer. This is due to the advanced and new engine set up by the Japanese manufacturer Yamaha. Cornering Fazer is much easier than Pulsar. Apart from the price, Fazer is certainly a better option than Bajaj Pulsar.
